District seeks members for Strategic Planning Committee, community feedback
The Mendon-Upton Regional School District invites members of the school community to take part in a new strategic planning process to chart the District’s vision for the next five years.
The District is looking for a variety of voices representing all stakeholder groups -- staff, students, parents, administrators, and community members.
In 2018, the District’s Strategic Planning Committee developed a five-year plan that has served as blueprint for all initiatives, priorities, and budgeting. The new Committee will continue to strive to bring a bold vision about learning in a modern context, and to give our students what they need to be successful in an ever-changing world.
The Committee will continue the mission of "empowering all learners to thrive" by evaluating the District’s progress, initiating new objectives to further bring this mission to life, and developing steps to foster the “Portrait of a Learner” competencies for all our learners.

The District also will host two focus groups to solicit community feedback. A meeting for parents and guardians will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 5 p.m at Nipmuc HS., while a meeting open to the entire school community will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m at Nipmuc HS.
